    Firm: Large Public Accounting 

    Location: Remote 

    Title: Sr. Mgr/Mgr - Accounting Advisory (805 / 718) 

    Industry: Manufacturing / Technology 

    Pay: $90-$100 per hour (C2C)

    Duration: 4+ months (extensions possible)

    As an Accounting Advisory Manager, you will lead teams that support clients on complex accounting and financial reporting matters. You will advise organizations on transactional, regulatory, and strategic accounting issues, including adoption of new accounting standards, accounting framework conversions, public offering readiness, and ongoing technical accounting support. You will build trusted client relationships, manage multiple engagements, and deliver practical, well-supported solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Lead and manage multiple accounting advisory engagements
    2. Consult on technical accounting matters and prepare supporting position papers
    3. Provide transaction accounting support for business combinations, carve-outs, restructurings, and IPOs
    4. Prepare and review financial statements and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, pro forma)
    5. Support audit readiness and first-time audits
    6. Provide on-call accounting advisory support
    7. Ensure timely, high-quality work in compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements
    8. Train, mentor, and supervise junior team members

    Qualifications

    1. Active CPA license required
    2. 5+ years of experience in accounting advisory, audit, or complex corporate accounting
    3. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, ASC 805 & 718, ASC 606, ASC 842, and complex debt/equity topics
    4. Manufacturing / technology industry exp (strong business combination and equity experience)
