    Assurance Manager – Registered Funds (Remote/Hybrid – Must Reside in Listed Locations)


    Compensation: $120,000 – $155,000 base salary, depending on experience


    A leading advisory and assurance firm is seeking an Assurance Manager to join its expanding registered funds audit practice. Known nationally for its excellence in the investment company space, the firm provides high-level audit and advisory services to mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and other pooled investment vehicles. This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional looking to lead client engagements and mentor junior staff within a high-growth, people-first culture.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage audits for investment fund clients, including mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and collective investment trusts
    2. Oversee engagement planning, execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
    3. Serve as a primary point of contact for client relationships, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables
    4. Develop a deep understanding of client operations and objectives to provide insightful guidance and support
    5. Identify opportunities for process improvement and additional service offerings
    6. Balance multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring timely, accurate delivery
    7. Lead and mentor audit teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth
    8. Collaborate closely with partners and directors to ensure alignment with engagement strategy and client service goals


    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required)
    2. CPA license (required)
    3. 4–6 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting
    4. Prior experience working with investment fund clients (mutual funds, hedge funds, fund of funds) strongly preferred
    5. Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting for registered funds
    6. Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills
    7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under deadline


    Work Location: Remote/Hybrid
