Duration: 2 Months (with possible extension)

Location: Remote (Aligning to US Eastern Time business hours)

1099 Contractor Rate: Up to $85/hr

W-2 Contractor Rate: Up to $75/hr

Job Overview:

A global advisory and technology firm is seeking a highly experienced Oracle EBS & ERP Senior Consultant to develop a 2-month prototype that will evaluate and demonstrate the transition of designated financial business processes (including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)), from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud platforms. The consultant will assess current processes, identify gaps, and provide a proof of concept showcasing the capabilities of the Oracle ERP and EPM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Process Assessment: Analyze designated financial business processes within the Oracle EBS system (including FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and consolidation).

Prototype Development: Design and build a prototype solution in Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EPM Cloud to demonstrate how these processes can be efficiently implemented.

Gap Analysis & Solution Mapping: Identify gaps between the current Oracle EBS system and Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud solutions, recommending best-fit approaches.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and validate the prototype.

Demonstration & Knowledge Transfer: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the prototype to key stakeholders, illustrating system functionalities and improvements.

Technical & Functional Expertise: Provide insights on Oracle ERP and EPM configuration, integrations, and best practices for financial process optimization.

Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration details, and transition recommendations.

Required Qualifications:

5-7 years of Oracle EBS (Financials, FP&A, Reporting) and Oracle ERP/EPM design, implementation, and support experience.

Proven experience with the Oracle EBS AR/GL and Grants Management modules.

Deep expertise in Oracle Financials, Planning & Budgeting, and Consolidation solutions.

Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP & EPM functionalities, especially around FP&A, financial reporting, and forecasting.

Experience developing in Oracle Reports, Forms, PL/SQL, and XLM Publisher.

Proven experience in system assessments, gap analysis, and prototype development.

Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Hands-on configuration experience with Oracle ERP & EPM Cloud modules.

Ability to work independently and deliver results within a short-term contract period.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in financial digital transformation projects.

Certification in Oracle ERP/EPM Cloud.

Experience working with large enterprises or complex financial systems.
