    .NET ARCHITECT | CONTRACT ROLE 3+MONTHS (EXTENSION LIKLEY) | PAY: $65-$70 PER HOUR (W2) | TAMPA (HYBRID)


    Job Title: .NET Architect

    Company: Big Four Consulting Firm

    Location: Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thu in Deloitte office - Tampa or Nashville)

    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Architect to lead the architecture design for enterprise applications, custom web solutions, and 3rd-party vendor products. This role requires expertise in web application architecture, service architecture, and technical design to ensure high performance, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and deploying distributed architectures, coding, and implementing large-scale vendor systems. Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in front-end and back-end technologies, including React, Angular, .NET, and cloud-based solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide architectural leadership for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
    2. Design and deploy web-based and web-enabled business applications using .NET technologies.
    3. Lead front-end and back-end development efforts, working closely with Product Owners to define requirements that impact overall architecture.
    4. Develop and implement service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles and patterns.
    5. Utilize various design patterns for scalability, performance, and resiliency.
    6. Conduct front-end code reviews and provide technical leadership in the development of UI frameworks.
    7. Architect, develop, and maintain multi-tier, cross-platform applications with a focus on mobility and cloud integration.
    8. Apply OOP principles, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Unified Modeling Language (UML) for robust architectural design.
    9. Collaborate with Agile development teams, utilizing SCRUM and SAFe methodologies.
    10. Work with Microsoft technologies, including WCF, SQL Server, SharePoint, BizTalk, and Azure.
    11. Implement messaging architectures such as SOAP, REST, and JSON-based web services.
    12. Develop data models and apply various normalization techniques for efficient data management.
    13. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    1. 7+ years of experience in web development, including .NET Framework (4.8), .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC (4.0 / 5.0), and modern front-end technologies.
    2. Strong knowledge of React with Redux, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Socket.IO.
    3. Experience in applying visual design patterns and technologies to scalable enterprise applications.
    4. Hands-on experience with 3rd-party web controls and UI frameworks (e.g., Angular 4+).
    5. Expertise in event-driven and delegate-based design paradigms.
    6. Deep understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and enterprise-level patterns.
    7. Proficiency in developing IT architecture plans and software development methodologies.
    8. Knowledge of web-based technologies, including HTTP, AJAX, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS3.
    9. Experience with Microsoft WCF, SQL Server, and other backend Microsoft technologies.
    10. Familiarity with Agile environments (SCRUM, SAFe) and tools such as Urban Turtle.
    11. Knowledge of electronic commerce, EDI, B2B architectures, and Master Data Management.
    12. Strong debugging skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.
    2. Familiarity with Excel Services, BizTalk, SAP XI, XML, and Web Services.
    3. Experience in data warehousing and large-scale data modeling.
    4. Understanding of messaging architectures such as EAI and RESTful API development.
