    Position IT Engineering (Engagement) Manager


    Responsibilities:

    Technology & Product Delivery:

    1. Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of application technology solutions aligned with strategic business objectives.
    2. Ensure business needs are well understood and that technology solutions effectively meet those needs.
    3. Provide technical consultation to leadership and stakeholders on solution options and vendor product selection as needed.
    4. Collaborate with leadership to budget and prioritize planned and unplanned development and maintenance initiatives.
    5. Work with Business System Analysts and Solution Architects to assess the feasibility and scope of technical solutions.
    6. Oversee product planning, delivery, release management, and deployment to ensure alignment with business needs and technology standards.

    Product Responsibilities:

    1. Manage day-to-day decisions related to assigned projects.
    2. Develop execution strategies for product roadmaps in collaboration with business leadership.
    3. Identify opportunities to improve application efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    4. Integrate business strategies and software capabilities to establish a clear vision and direction for products.

    Project Responsibilities:

    1. Lead all design and development aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
    2. Ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development lifecycle.
    3. Ensure all development and maintenance initiatives align with business strategies and innovation roadmaps.
    4. Oversee project execution, resource deployment, and coordination to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.

    Project Delivery & Collaboration:

    1. Work with project management teams to establish schedules, milestones, tasks, and estimates.
    2. Participate in technology and solution decisions with architecture and product teams.

    Offshore Team Oversight:

    1. Monitor daily progress and status of deliverables.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
    2. Strong software engineering and product architecture expertise, including Business Context Diagrams, sequence/activity/state/ER/DFD diagrams, OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and code instrumentation.
    3. 10+ years of experience with programming languages such as Angular, React, NodeJS, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang, SQL/NoSQL, and unit testing frameworks.
    4. 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in product development organizations from inception to delivery.
    5. 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native development using FaaS/PaaS/microservices on platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
    6. 3+ years of experience with AI/ML and Generative AI (preferred).
    7. Deep understanding of methodologies and tools such as XP, Lean, SAFe, DevSecOps, SRE, ADO, GitHub, and SonarQube
