    Data Center Engineer (Remote) Work with a Leading Consulting Firm!


    1. Start Date: February 24, 2025
    2. End Date: May 31, 2025 (extension possible)
    3. Compensation: $75/hr to $90/hr (W2 ONLY)
    4. Location: Remote (with potential travel)


    About the Opportunity:

    PeopleCaddie is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to join a high-profile consulting firm on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong IT infrastructure and data center operations background, offering the chance to work in a high-performance environment alongside top-tier talent.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Deliver onsite smart hands installation and support for Data Center technologies.
    2. Configure and install WinTel and AIX servers, network devices, and SAN equipment.
    3. Support data platform development, including ETL processes, data integration, and storage solutions.
    4. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across platforms.
    5. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a mission-critical environment.
    6. Collaborate with teams to enhance data monitoring, reporting, and system automation.
    7. Provide after-hours first-level support and scheduled project assistance.


    What We’re Looking For:

    1. 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations and IT Infrastructure.
    2. Strong background in server configuration, networking, and SAN storage.
    3. Knowledgeable in data integration, ETL processes, and best practices for data governance.
    4. Comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced enterprise environment.
    5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    6. Willing to work after hours and travel when necessary.
