    EDI ARCHITECT (FULL OR PART-TIME)| $70MM HIGH GROWTH COMPANY | 2+MONTHS | REMOTE | PAY: $80-$90 (1099/C2C)


    Job Title: Enterprise Architect – EDI & Integration Strategy Specialist

    Location: Orlando, FL *REMOTE*

    Employment Type: 40 hours a week (2 Months), could be extended for 1 year on a 20+week basis.

    Pay: $80-$90 per hour (1099/C2C)

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to assess our current Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and integration systems and provide a strategic recommendation on the best integration platform for our business. This role will involve a comprehensive evaluation of existing workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and advising on the most scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solution for integrating with our enterprise partners.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. System Evaluation & Strategy: Conduct a detailed assessment of the company's current EDI and integration architecture, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
    2. Integration Platform Recommendation: Analyze leading integration platforms (e.g., Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato) and provide a data-driven recommendation on the best solution based on business needs, scalability, and industry best practices.
    3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, business leadership, and external partners to understand integration requirements and future scalability needs.
    4. Architecture Development: Define an integration strategy and roadmap to support seamless data exchange and automation across enterprise systems.
    5. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in current IT and EDI processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    6. Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all integration solutions align with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
    7. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain clear documentation of system assessments, proposed solutions, and implementation plans to support decision-making and future execution.

    Qualifications:

    1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise architecture, EDI integration, and system evaluation.
    3. Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of EDI standards, data integration, APIs, and middleware platforms. Experience with Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar platforms is a plus.
    4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess complex IT landscapes and provide clear, strategic recommendations.
    5. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical insights to business stakeholders.
