    Partnership Tax Senior Associate - Financial Services


    1. Start Date: February 3, 2025
    2. End Date: July 31, 2025 (extensions possible)
    3. Compensation: $55–$70 per hour (W2 with 1.5x overtime)
    4. Location: Remote, EST alignment

    About the Role:

    As a Contract Partnership Tax Senior Associate, you will perform compliance for complex tax returns and deliver consulting services to individual, trust, partnership, and S corporation clients. Collaborating with the Partnership Business team, you will focus on quality, accuracy, and client service to provide high-value solutions.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Perform compliance reviews for complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
    2. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise for Financial Services and Partnership clients.
    3. Plan, execute, and complete tax projects across various industries, managing budgets and deadlines.
    4. Supervise, develop, train, and mentor staff on assigned tax projects, assessing performance for engagement and year-end reviews.
    5. Research and consult on tax matters, including partnership, individual, and trust returns.
    6. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
    7. Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and enhance relationships.


    Preferred Background:

    1. Candidates must demonstrate Financial Services Partnership experience on their resumes.
    2. Experience with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, private companies, and family offices is highly valued.


    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
    2. CPA preferred.
    3. 2–6 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience (public accounting or a mix of public and industry experience).
    4. Proficiency in US GAAP, partnership, S corporation, individual, and trust returns.
    5. Proven ability to identify and resolve technical tax issues in collaboration with specialists.
    6. Exceptional client service and communication skills.
    7. Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
    8. Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
