    Product Manager

    Duration: 6 months contract

    Rate: $75 - $80 w2 hourly

    Location: Chicago, IL hybrid


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    •    Provide day to day support for 4 portals and maintain multiple applications looking for ways to improve the platforms and build system efficiencies

    •    Bring the voice of the customer (internal and external) into the design and prioritization of enhancements.

    •    Create the roadmap for the various application enhancements based on guidance from FORG, resources, and budget.

    •    Ensure the development team has a thorough understanding of even the most complex requirements.

    •    Inspect completed work against requirements, customer needs, and business needs.

    •    Evolve and optimize features based on ongoing feedback.

    •    Gather and evaluate application needs through interviews and requirements gathering sessions, including customer usability sessions.

    •    Effectively communicate project status to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

    •    Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to communicate status, new developments, acquire approval and buy-in, and gather feedback.

    •    Manage small projects that span across multiple applications including Renovations, Brand Health Portal, HyLink, and HyQuality.

    •    Hold daily stand up calls and manage the development team via Jira or other agile tool.

    •    Develop and maintain project schedules to be used in tracking project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

    •    Track completion of tasks and follow up as needed to ensure timelines are met.

    •    Capture feedback from users and document changes for the product backlog. Also, assist in providing clear, thorough requirements and product specifications for the backlog.

    •    Create and maintain project documentation including but not limited to testing plans, training materials, presentations, standard operating procedures and communication plans

    •    Perform product testing, issue management, documentation, escalating when necessary, and ability to take corrective action.

    •    Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations at varying audience levels, including senior management.


    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    •    Minimum of 5 years total work experience as a Product Manager.

    •    Proficient in Office suite and agile tools (ie Jira/SmartSheet).

    •    Excellent Communicator.
