Accounting Associate

Location: Northbrook, IL (**Hybrid - 2 days onsite at Northbrook Illinois 60062**)
Pay: $30-$33 (W2)
Contract Length: 3 months

A $1+ Billion Company is seeking an Accounting Consultant to process high volumes of AP/AR invoices.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Associate role is responsible for processing various types of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions including entry of AP vendor invoices and creation of AR credits and debit. Intermediate knowledge of Excel is a must.
The role they are filling a very fast paced role that processes hundreds of 3-way matching material invoices to the PO’s, they add all the invoices details to a tracking spreadsheet and manages the spreadsheet.
They create an excel workbook shows all PO’s that have not been invoiced yet to inform the team for review and management.

Requirements:

Minimum 4+years experience in accounts payable
AP Invoice entry, Price discrepancy resolution, Three-way match, Entering AP credits and debits, Understanding how to determine AP cost, How to determine inventory cost, AP case resolution
Advanced Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, shortcuts)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (highly preferred)
