    HR Business Partner (6-9 Month Contract) – Santa Clarita, CA


    An established aerospace manufacturing firm in Santa Clarita, CA, is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join their team on a 6-9 month contract. The company is looking for seasoned professionals who can hit the ground running and start immediately.


    Key Details:

    1. Pay: $45-$65/hour
    2. Location: Santa Clarita, CA (on-site)
    3. Duration: 6-9 months
    4. Start Date: ASAP

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Union and Labor Relations: Experience with collective bargaining, addressing grievances, and facilitating compliant termination policies is preferred but not required.
    2. HR Experience: 5+ years in HR roles with competencies including workforce planning, compensation, performance management, and labor relations.
    3. Experience in manufacturing and/or engineering environments.
    4. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
    5. Ability to excel in a matrixed organizational structure.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Lead HR investigations and address employee relations matters promptly and effectively.
    2. Drive organizational capability and workforce planning initiatives.
    3. Manage compensation, performance management, and total rewards strategies.
    4. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, focusing on risk management and affirmative action/EEO requirements.
    5. Spearhead key HR projects and initiatives with minimal oversight, demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking.


    This role is ideal for seasoned HR professionals ready to step into a fast-paced environment and make an immediate impact. Union experience is highly valued but not required.
