    Tax Manager (SALT and Passthrough) | Direct Hire/Full Time


    1. Location: Baltimore, MD (Mt. Vernon area)
    2. Salary: $120,000 - $150,000/year + benefits, 401(k), and company performance bonuses


    Our client, a progressive international organization, is seeking a Sales Tax Manager to join their dynamic team in Baltimore, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that values innovation and professional development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Review and prepare SALT tax returns, with a focus on pass-through entities.
    2. Develop and execute comprehensive, deadline-driven compliance plans.
    3. Research and monitor SALT developments to provide timely guidance.
    4. Lead audits and address tax-related issues as needed.
    5. Serve as the subject matter expert on SALT for the organization.
    6. Provide insights on GST and VAT (global indirect tax), as applicable.


    Qualifications:

    1. 3-5 years of experience in SALT tax preparation and review, with exposure to pass-through entities preferred.
    2. Proficiency in planning and executing tax compliance processes.
    3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and economic policies.
    4. Familiarity with OneSource Indirect Tax Solutions Software is a plus.
    5. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
    6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
    7. Exposure to GST/VAT is a plus but not required.
