    Contract Opportunity: Tax Partnership - Senior Associate


    1. Start Date: January 21, 2025
    2. End Date: April 15, 2025 (extensions possible)
    3. Compensation: $55–$70 per hour (W2); 1099/Corp-to-Corp rates available upon request
    4. Location: Remote, EST working hours

    About the Role:

    As a Tax Partnership - Senior Associate, you’ll take on complex tax compliance and consulting projects for partnerships, S corporations, individuals, and trusts. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions using advanced tools and resources.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Support client service teams to plan, execute, and complete tax projects across various industries.
    2. Deliver tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to meet project deadlines and expectations.
    3. Supervise, train, and mentor staff on assigned tax projects.
    4. Research and address complex tax matters; prepare returns and respond to IRS inquiries.
    5. Maintain strong client communication to ensure deadlines and project goals are met.


    Preferred Background:

    1. Candidates with insurance tax expertise are highly valued. However, we also welcome those with broader partnership experience for flexibility across additional engagements.


    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
    2. CPA preferred.
    3. 2–6 years of progressive tax compliance and/or consulting experience (public accounting or a mix of public and industry experience).
    4. Proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, partnership, S corporation, individual, and trust returns.
    5. Experience with high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, private companies, and family offices.
    6. Exposure to Financial Services, including Asset Management, Fund to Fund, and Hedge Funds.
    7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
