    Employee Relations & Risk Operations Senior Associate (Contract)


    1. Location: Remote (Preference for Eastern Time Zone; Central Time Zone acceptable)
    2. Contract Duration: December 2, 2024 – June 1, 2025 (with potential for extension)
    3. Hourly Rate: $45 - $55 per hour

    Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contractor - Employee Relations & Risk Operations Senior Associate to support our Employee Relations and Risk Operations Team. This role has been established in response to recent policy changes, leading to an anticipated increase in incident volume. The primary responsibility is to manage the end-to-end investigation process for technology-related incidents, particularly those involving data loss violations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Incident Investigation: Lead comprehensive investigations into data loss incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and utilization of the centralized case management system.
    2. Data Analysis: Review and analyze large Excel reports, synthesizing information from multiple sources to identify potential risks.
    3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and People & Culture (P&C) departments to coordinate outreach and remediation efforts.
    4. Meeting Participation: Actively participate in and lead data loss prevention status meetings, researching incidents and flagging escalations for follow-up.
    5. Documentation: Draft remediation documentation for data loss prevention, subject to review by the Risk Operations Manager.
    6. General Support: Provide additional support to the Employee Relations/Risk Operations Team as assigned.


    Required Qualifications:

    1. Experience: 3 to 5 years in Human Resources or related fields, with exposure to handling sensitive matters.
    2. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field or equivalent work experience.
    3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially intermediate-level Excel skills. Familiarity with case management systems is advantageous.
    4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
    5. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    6. Professionalism: High ethical standards, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
    7. Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and the capacity to manage changing demands and priorities effectively.
    8. Initiative: Proactive approach with the ability to complete tasks confidently and a willingness to engage in various responsibilities to achieve objectives.


    Work Schedule: The role supports all time zones, with a standard working schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time.


    Note: This is a contract position with a specified duration and potential for extension. Conversion to a full-time role is not anticipated at this time.
