    Seasonal Audit Contractor – Senior Associate Level


    1. Pay Range: $55–$70/hour W2 (Overtime paid at 1.5x)
    2. Location: Fully Remote (may ask about in-office ability)
    3. Contract Duration: Beginning of January – end of April 2025 (Busy Season)


    Join one of six prestigious public accounting firms—ranging from a global Big Four leader to well-respected national and regional firms—for an exciting and dynamic seasonal audit opportunity. These contract roles are perfect for experienced professionals who thrive during the busy season hustle.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with private and public companies to understand their businesses, assess risks, and focus efforts where they matter most.
    2. Enhance clients' financial reporting processes and provide insights to help them better understand their operations.
    3. Keep clients informed about accounting, financial, and regulatory developments impacting their businesses.
    4. Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, including budget oversight.
    5. Supervise, train, and mentor audit associates and interns, performing in-charge duties as needed.
    6. Identify and resolve client issues with the audit team.
    7. Conduct research and analysis of financial statements and audits.


    What You Bring:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related discipline.
    2. CPA license (preferred) or actively pursuing CPA certification.
    3. Minimum of 2 years of progressive public accounting experience, including in-charge auditing.
    4. Proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS, with strong technical accounting skills.
    5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
    6. Exceptional client service, communication, and leadership skills.
    7. Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
