    Middleware SME – Red Hat AMQ/Tibco

    Duration: 6 months contract to hire

    Rate: $55 - $65 w2 hourly

    Location: remote


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Install, Deploy, configure and setup Tibco components including brokers, queues, topics and services Lifecycle management of Tibco products to ensure the latest features and security fixes are in place.
    2. Monitor the health and performance of Tibco systems using tools like Tibco Hawk, Tivoli, or other monitoring solutions.
    3. Track metrics such as system throughput, response times, and resource utilization, identify opportunities to optimize environment.
    4. Tune system configurations to optimize performance, including memory usage, threading, and connection settings.
    5. Configure and manage load balancing to distribute workloads across multiple servers and ensure high availability.
    6. Implement and manage RBAC policies
    7. Ensure Tibco systems are configured according to security best practices, industry regulations, including encryption, secure communication channels, and vulnerability management.
    8. Implement and manage backup procedures for Tibco configurations, databases, and applications.
    9. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or data loss inline with RTO/RPO of the organization.
    10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tibco middleware, including message delivery problems, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.
    11. Maintain SOP documentation, KEDB, Capacity plan and performance reports.
    12. Review and provide feedback to change records. Participate in identification of problem and propose and implement remediation of the same.


    REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Must have experience with Red Hat
    2. AMQ as well as Tibco EMS, Tomcat, Apache and WAS.
    3. Must have a minimum of 9 years in IT
    4. and 5 years in Tibco administration.
    5. Proficiency in setting up, managing, deploying and troubleshooting Tibco BusinessWorks, BusinessEvents and EMS messaging environments.
    6. Experience in monitoring, optimizing and managing Tibco middleware environments using Tibco Hawk.
    7. Ability to apply integration design patterns such as message routing using multiple technologies like EMS, ActiveMQ and BusinessEvents, transformation, and service orchestration.
    8. Experience in creating scalable, reliable, and secure integration architectures using Tibco technologies including geo dispersed clusters
    9. Experience integrating Tibco solutions with various APIs like CA7, SAP, ActiveMQ and external systems.
    10. Exposure to data mapping,
    11. transformation, and handling different
    12. data formats.
    13. Experience with automation tools and techniques to streamline deployment and management processes.
    14. Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex integration issues.
    15. Exposure to cloud-based integration and orchestration services, enabling connectivity between cloud and on- premises applications
    16. Exposure to administration and integration with application servers like Tomcat and JBoss
    17. Good knowledge of ITIL practice.
