    ***NEW ROLE***Front End Engineer ***

    Client: Large Hospitality Company

    Pay: $63 - $67

    Location: Chicago local preferred but remote ok

    6 months

    Job Posting Title:  Front End Engineer

    Description:  PURPOSE:

    Reports to Product Engineering Team Lead or Manager. The Front End Engineer’s role is to develop user interface components and implement them using well-known Javascript frameworks like React.

    The position responsibilities outlined below are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with product, design, and development team members to understand business requirements and the desired user experience

    • Experience working in agile environments that have embraced DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices

    • Building highly responsive user interface components

    • Developing automated tests, and deployment processes

    • Mentoring junior team members.

    • Provide Tier 3 production support

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years overall of progressively responsible software development experience

    • 2+ years hands on experience with Java, XML, CSS HTML and mainstream Javascript frameworks like Vue and React

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    Strong Agile experience preferred
