    Experienced Accountant (Grants Experience)


    Location: Hybrid (On-site 3 days a week, Memphis, TN)

    Duration: 9-12 months

    Pay Range: $45 - $60/hour, depending on experience


    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an Accountant with experience in grants management to handle day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will support financial reporting and compliance related to public health grants.


    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage accounting operations related to grant funding.
    2. Prepare financial reports and reconcile grant expenditures.
    3. Ensure grant funds are utilized in compliance with funding requirements.
    4. Assist with audit preparations and financial close activities.


    Must-Have Skills:

    1. 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on grants management.
    2. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.).
    3. Strong understanding of public sector accounting practices.
    4. Excellent analytical and communication skills.


    Education:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    2. CPA certification (preferred).
