    SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | $95,000 - $100,000 | DIRECT HIRE | FULLY REMOTE!


    Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive print and related solutions. They specialize in custom printing, envelopes, labels, and commercial print products, catering to a wide range of industries. With numerous North American locations, they are seeking a Senior Accountant in a FULLY REMOTE capacity.


    1. This is a Direct Hire position.
    2. Pay: $95,000 - $100,000
    3. Start Date: ASAP
    4. Location: Remote


    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for utilizing established accounting practices and processes to manage financial data and related projects. Duties include preparing detailed and timely entries and ensuring that control measures are in place or communicated when necessary.


    Essential Functions

    1. Ensure timely and accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses for designated locations and accounts, taking full ownership of assigned areas.
    2. Complete monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes accurately and promptly.
    3. Implement and monitor accounting control procedures.
    4. Compile and analyze data to complete reconciliations as required on a monthly and quarterly basis.
    5. Maintain financial records according to established policies and procedures.
    6. Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are adhered to.
    7. Prepare comprehensive management reports on schedule.
    8. Address discrepancies in accounting and resolve irregularities.
    9. Provide insights on business operations, including trends in revenue and expenditure, financial commitments, and projections for future revenue.


    Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
    2. At least two years of experience in accounting.
    3. Strong proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs, macros, and nested IF statements) is essential.
    4. Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage projects, propose process improvements, and meet deadlines.
    5. Familiarity with manufacturing processes is preferred.
    6. Ability to fully comprehend subject matter before starting any task or project.
    7. Efficient time management to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    8. Ability to explain financial data clearly, especially when communicating with non-accounting colleagues.
    9. Strong communication skills, including the ability to draft concise and relevant emails.
    10. Professional demeanor in verbal and non-verbal communication during meetings.
    11. Strong planning, strategic communication, and execution skills to ensure project success.
